Description

Airmail flight cover commemorating 75th anniversary of flight and first day of issue for German stamp; preprinted envelope with illustration of aircraft (Wright Flyer, 1903); postmarked April 13, 1978 in Berlin with 40-pfennig stamp; no backstamp. a. envelope b. accompanying presentation page, with informational text and map of East and West Germany. Pea green with gold and black print. "75th Anniversary of Flight" printed along middle in gold. Housed in PHLT01.
