Airmail flight cover commemorating first airmail flight, FAM-24, New York - Glasgow route; blue cachet with image of historical building and tartan plaid pattern; postmarked June 2, 1947 in New York with football-shaped cancellation mark over 20-cent stamp and 5-cent postal indicia; no backstamp; enclosed material (b) indicates cover was carried on American Overseas Airlines flight.
