Airmail flight cover for U.S. Navy 24-Hour Mass Test Flight, Pacific Ocean, December 18-19, 1936; navy blue cachet printed at top left with text "First 24 Hour Mass Flight Made by Planes Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 of Patrol Squadron Six-F U.S. Navy December 18-19, 1936 Carried in Plane 6-P-6"; postmarked December 18, 1936, San Diego, Calif. with “U.S. Naval Air Station” cancellation mark over four 3-cent stamps; backstamp: December 19, 1936, VT Squadron 2-B; addressed to Mr. Ben K. Lantz.
