Menu issued by Pan American World Airways for special charter flight of San Francisco 49ers football team from Tucson, Arizona to San Francisco following exhibition game against Pittsburgh Steelers in Tucson, September 1954; red and white cover with illustration depicting team mascot Clementine the Mule carrying 49ers flag on wing of aircraft in flight; lunch menu with entree selection of seafood cocktail, broiled New York steak bordelaise, buttered peas, and au gratin potatoes. b. The Black Kitten newsletter, from Press and Union League Club of San Francisco, dated November 8, 1954; contains photographic image of 49ers mascot Clementine the Mule and short article about visit to zoo with giraffe.
