Airmail flight cover, first flight inaugurating contract air mail from Elgin, Illinois, CAM-9; octagonal black cachet with winged circle and commemorative text; signed by Chas. W. Holman and Chad B. Smith, pilots; postmarked March 8, 1930 in Elgin, Illinois with wavy cancellation mark over 5-cent stamp; no backstamp.
