Digital scan of airmail flight cover, First Flight / Pan American Airways Clipper / Hawaii - California route; large format envelope postmarked April 23, 1935, San Francisco with football-shaped cancellation / killer stamps with “8” at center, addressed to United States President Franklin D. Roosevelt, White House, Washington, DC; stamped with blue cachet, signed by flight crew including Commander Edwin Musick, 2nd in Command R.O.D. Sullivan, Navigator Fred J. Noonan, Engineer Victor A. Wright, Radioman W. T. Jarboe, Jr., and Junior Officer Harry R. Canaday; printed caption and newspaper clipping adhered on reverse.
